Position Overview 

Boston Digital is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to work under the guidance of the Director of Digital Strategy. The Senior Digital Strategist will oversee the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies for assigned clients.


  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns, including creative campaign concepting
  • Utilize a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to clients’ websites
  • Develop strategies to track and improve conversion rates
  • Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness
  • Develop and implement organic and paid social media strategies
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Oversee the work of digital project managers to ensure work is aligned with defined strategies
  • Analyze audience data in order to optimize digital marketing activities and make recommendations for future digital efforts

Qualifications and Skills


  • A minimum of 4 years experience in relevant digital marketing role
  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communication or equivalent
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO, as well as e-commerce, email marketing and social media
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience in creating/optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Experience in creating/optimizing targeted paid Facebook campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies and best practices
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (i.e. – Google Analytics)
  • Solid knowledge of critical digital marketing platforms including Facebook Ad Manager, Google Adwords, Google Display Network, HubSpot and LinkedIn for Advertisers
  • Current with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation and experience with platforms like Hubspot, Marketo and Pardot
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
